On October 14th we will be able to witness one of the most amazing natural phenomena on the planet, an annular solar eclipse, also known as a ring of fire, which was last observed in Mexico more than 30 years ago, on 11 July 1991.

This time, according to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the most anticipated astronomical event of the year will only be visible in its entirety in the Yucatan Peninsula, so people in this area of the country will be able to witness an event that will not be repeated in Mexico for 29 years and in the Yucatan Peninsula for 48 years.

This memorable event will begin at 9:45 a.m. and end in its partial form at 1:08 p.m., while the total lunar eclipse will be visible at 11:22 a.m. and will reach its maximum at 11:24 a.m. on October 14th 2023.

It is expected that at the peak of the eclipse, 90.4% of the sun's light will be obscured, this will undoubtedly be a memorable astronomical event and we invite you to stay at one of our hotels on these dates to experience this amazing event.
