How do you get to Punta Esmeralda Beach?
Located on Fifth Avenue in downtown Playa del Carmen, Punta Esmeralda is a quick 35-minute from Puerto Morelos. It's an easy drive south on Carr. Tulum - Cancún/México 307. There is free parking along the access roads near the cenote or taxi services that will take you there for about $30.
Are there bathrooms at Punta Esmeralda Beach?
In order to keep the beach clean with no fee or admission, there are no public bathrooms on the beach itself. There are bathrooms just a short walk away on either end of the cenote at the beach bar that are available to the public. The bar is perfect for getting food and refreshments while visiting this hidden gem.
