Frequently Asked Questions – Weddings at The Fives Hotels

How do I start the Room Contract process?
- We check availability for the requested dates, room categories, and number of rooms (minimum 3 nights per guest).
- Once confirmed, you'll receive a Room Block Contract with preferential rates.
- To activate the block, a deposit (guarantee) is required based on the number of rooms.
- Once signed and the deposit is received, we'll send a link to your personalized booking platform so your guests can easily book their rooms.
How do I ensure my guests have rooms for the wedding?
Due to high demand, we recommend securing a Room Contract early. This blocks rooms exclusively for your group and guarantees availability. The contract becomes valid with a deposit based on your requested room count.
Can I get my deposit back?
Yes. Your deposit will be refunded if:
- All rooms in the block are booked.
- All reservations are fully paid 60 days before arrival.
Note: One night will be deducted per unpaid or unbooked room.
Can I use the deposit for wedding extras?
Absolutely. The deposit can be applied to:
- Your room stay (partially or fully).
- Wedding extras (decor, cake, entertainment, florals, etc.).
What are the customer commitments for Room Contract benefits?
- Minimum of 10 rooms and 3 nights per guest.
- All bookings and payments must be completed via the personalized booking link.
- The hotel does not contact guests directly for payments or reservations.
- Reservations must be fully paid 60 days before arrival.

What room categories should I include?
- Rooms and categories available for your dates will be shared. Once you give us the OK, these rooms will be blocked and guaranteed for your guests.
- Guests may book other categories outside the contract, subject to availability.
- We encourage early booking to ensure preferred room selection.
What if a guest wants to stay more than 3 nights?
- Contract rates apply up to 5 nights before and after the contracted dates.
- Additional nights are subject to availability, so early booking is recommended.
How do guests book their rooms?
- Once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid, guests must book through your personalized portal.
- Bookings and payments are completed online. No phone calls are necessary.
- For assistance, guests can email the Groups Booking team.
Will the hotel contact my guests?
No. The hotel will not reach out to guests. Please ensure guests book via the provided platform at least 120 days before arrival and fully pay by 60 days prior.
What if a guest books through a third party?
Guests who book outside the Room Contract will be charged:
- $25 USD per person, per wedding event.
What benefits do I receive with a Room Contract?
With a minimum of 10 rooms and 3 nights per guest, you’re eligible for:

- One complimentary room for every 10 paid (max 3).
- One free room upgrade for every 10 paid (max 3).
- Honey Money cashback program.
How does Honey Money work?
- Earn up to $X USD for each fully paid room night — the amount may vary based on your booking channel.
- Funds can be applied to:
- Reservations must be fully paid 60 days before arrival.
- Unused Honey Money expires at checkout.
How do I apply my benefits?
- Benefits apply based on final room nights confirmed and fully paid 60 days before arrival.
- Late payments (after 59 days) are not eligible.
- Wedding extras must also be fully paid 60 days prior.
The more room nights your guests book and pay, the greater your benefits!
Can I reduce rooms after signing the contract?
Yes, with the following conditions:
- 120 days before arrival: Cancel up to 40% of blocked rooms with no penalty.
- 90 days before arrival: Cancel up to 30% with no penalty.
- 60 days before arrival: Cancel up to 20% with no penalty.
- 59 days or less: No cancellations or refunds allowed.
Rooms cancelled beyond these limits will incur a one-night penalty per room.
Can I add more rooms later?
Yes, depending on availability. Here's how:
- Contact the Sales Service Center to request an Addendum.
- A one-night deposit per added room is required.
- Due to high demand, we recommend initially blocking the maximum number of rooms you anticipate needing. Reductions can be made within the allowed windows.
